We are Involving People

Wessex Voices has rebranded! We’ve officially launched our new website under our new identity, Involving People.

As Involving People, we continue to work in partnership with health and social care organisations including local Healthwatch, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System (ICS) and Wessex Cancer Alliance to do exactly that, involve people in decision making around health services.

We work in partnership with patients, caregivers and members of the public to plan, manage, design and carry out research in coproduction, and we help to build the capability of organisations to confidently and seamlessly weave Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) into their plans and projects.

Steve Bond, joint Cancer PPI Head of Programme for Involving People, said:

“Involving people to help improve health and care services is right at the heart of the Government’s change agenda – it both improves health outcomes for everyone and saves money in the long run. Listening to the voices of people with lived experience is key to making services better, and requires patients and providers to build new relationships. At Involving People, we are experts at facilitating this way of working.”

Enabling people to share their experiences and amplifying the voices of those with lived experience, particularly the voices of those who are less heard is our priority.

We would like to thank our partner organisations, colleagues and dedicated volunteers who have supported and championed our work – and we can’t wait to continue on our journey with you as Involving People.
